Research and funding

Pancreatic cancer remains among the leading causes of cancer-related deaths, with one of the lowest 5-year survival rates of any major cancer. In an effort to improve that rate and spread hope, NPCF is proud to fund research — including early detection strategies and integrative treatment approaches often not covered by insurance.

We believe conventional western medicine mixed with functional and complementary care can produce practical results for patients. Earlier detection would enable more tumors to be removed before cancerous cells spread.

Direct financial assistance also matters: families cannot focus on a trial or an integrative modality if the mortgage and the lights are in doubt. That is why gifts to NPCF work on both fronts — the science and the kitchen table.
